Ivan Ivanov
After retiring from competition in 1997, Ivan Radnev Ivanov left his home country of Bulgaria to join U.S.A. wrestling as a development coach and to further the Greco-Roman wrestling program in the United States. Ivan began his coaching career as an Assistant Resident Coach for the Greco-Roman wrestling team at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado (a position he held from 1997 to 1999). In March of 1999, Ivan became the full-time Wrestling Director and Head Coach at one of the largest health clubs in Utah, the Tree-House Athletic Club (better known as TAC-Wrestling) in Salt Lake City, UT.
In February 2002, Ivan returned to USA Wrestling and moved his innovative coaching techniques to Marquette, MI as the Head Coach of the Greco-Roman wrestling team at the United States Olympic Education Center (USOEC) at the campus of Northern Michigan University. Subsequently, Ivan developed the facility into the top Greco-Roman wrestling program for college-aged athletes in the United States.

High Intensity Rope Training System
Stretchable bands (or tubing) resistant training has always been one of my favorite ways to build strength. My idea about developing the H.I.R.T.S trainer came mostly because I wanted to experience rope climbing training methods any place I wish to do my work out. The H.I.R.T.S can effectively train the same upper body muscles involved during hanging rope climbing and even more when using additional attachments. A great tool for total body workouts, the H.I.R.T.S. trainer can be adjusted to deliver multiple levels of training resistance. The tubing inside the protective sleeve is removable and color coded for ease of adjustment and maintenance. Each tubes color signifies a different level of resistance. The H.I.R.T.S trainer can be set to train athletes from a young age to world class levels.
The H.I.R.T.S has become the new torturing toy in our Olympic Wrestling Room. Our guys love it AND hate it! But nobody disputes its importance when we can see the impressive results. Ivan Ivanov

The Gladiator Wall
The Gladiator Wall has been always the foundation training equipment in all the wrestling rooms that I have designed. I have developed it to fit and be in connection with my other equipment and training methods. Having the Wall right in the wrestling room gives me opportunity to condition my wrestlers immediately after the mat practice and not depend on having strength coach or have to move to weight room. - Coach Ivan Ivanov Learn More
The Speed Dummy
Quote from Coach Ivan Ivanov inventor:
Based on my 15 years wrestling career as a world class athlete and another 14 years of coaching experience I have realized that takes time to establish a throwing technique in wrestling or Judo Supportive tools/training equipment like the Speed Dummy is needed.
Now with having the speed dummy I am able to train not only world class athletes but also anyone who wants to experience the combat fitness throws. With the Suples Speed dummy I can design fun training routines but I can also design routines to make your legs shake and blow your lungs. You got to tray the speed dummy, no matter if you are world class athlete of fitness person. You could love it and you could hate it! Train To Win!
Here are few of the reasons why I have decided to build the Speed Dummy and I also want to compare the differences between the Speed Dummy and the Traditional Dummy:
* The Speed Dummy is design to be almost half weight lighter than the regular throwing dummy. That makes the speed dummy a lot more functional while drilling throws, techniques and combat fitness movements.
* The difference of the stuffing materials makes the speed dummy much more flexible and a lot easy to practice than the traditional throwing dummy good for building explosive power but not design for training speed.
* The arm dimensions are designed with extra length for good hold and grip vs. the traditional dummy the arms are shorter.
* The Speed dummy is designed to bounce of the mat while throwing. That helps the athlete quickly to reset for the next throw without lifting it every time.
* The speed dummy is designed to develop speed and intensity while executing throws. Thus a great cardio work out can be accomplished and gets your heart rate pretty high. With the traditional dummy we gain the ruff power while we are working on techniques, where with the speed dummy we can polish our techniques to perfection.
* The speed dummy will not beat your body down if you decide to do warm up before wrestling practice or competition match but it will help you warm up your muscles on specific way for your wrestling style.
